Background:

'Medicine Shop Management System' is a web based application, designed for Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama Charitable Hospital, Trivandrum, which is further enhanced for Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar which handles selling, refund, refund of refund and purchasing of medicine items. This application is released on 1st April 2017 and running in Itanagar successfully.

Scope of the Application/Project:

To keep record of Purchase history, Partial purchase history and Canceled purchase order. Generate report for Sales Summary, Summary of Cash Sales, Sales History, Summary of Free Supply Sales, NC Amount, NC Medicines List, Summary of Credit Sales, Medicine wise Sales History, Doctor wise Sales Summary, Patient wise Sales History and Sales Summary of Tax Paid. Generate report for Modified Sales Transaction, Summary of Refunded Amount, Refunded Transaction, First Sales Transaction.

Brief Application Description:

Medicine Shop Management System contains information about all medicine which is purchased, sold and refunded in Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar. The inventory is updated after each transaction of purchase, sales and refund. It keeps record about inventory (purchase, refund and sale of items) as well as accounting purpose. It provide Sales type and according to Sales type it generate discount. Stock shows all purchased quantity, sold quantity, returned quantity and available quantity. Application can handle normal purchase order along with partial purchase order on user needs. Partial purchase is used that is based on PTR (Price to retailer) and based on tax amount. After each transaction inventory is updated. There is fix sales type and according to sales type discount is there. Discount is not filed, it can be modified by user. Refund is use to return purchased medicine by the patient. Patient can do full refund or partial refund. To return medicine two bills are getting generated i.e., modified bill and refunded bill. User can do refund of refund. Report is use to generate all details of sales, purchase and refund.
