 Patient Services and Accounting System, Vrindaban: Endoscopy/Colonoscopy [Status-Upcoming]  

Endoscopy and Colonoscopy module is being added to Patient Service Accounting System (PSAS) for  Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama Hospital at Vrindaban. We are expecting 5 to 9 Endoscopy and Colonoscopy Services  per day. The component is schedule to be released in  March, 2013.

Three types of Endoscopy and Colonoscopy  reports will be provided:
  1. Colonoscopy
  2. Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography (ERCP)
  3. Upper (Gastrointestinal) G.I. Endoscopy
       
Endoscopy/Colonoscopy  means looking inside and typically refers to looking inside the body for medical reasons. Endoscopy and  Colonoscopy module will allow entering patient details name, age etc., and resgiter the specific type of service.
A clinical Endoscopy/Colonoscopy report will be provided, which  will show the posted date for Endoscopy/Colonoscopy service, doctor providing the service, and the status (complete or due). Additional details such as procedure planned, tisuue removed (if done), time,  complications (if any), outcome means normal or benigin or suspicion of malignancy, what is the indication of Endoscopy/Colonoscopy like "abdominal pain, anaemia evaluation, weight loss (unexplained), gastric polyps" etc.. A total  of  31 types of Indications of Endoscopy/Colonoscopy, will be provided along with print facility.
