Prior to use of our system, the lab was was accepting 100 - 110 samples per day even though they had lab test machines that could process a batch of samples such as Roche mainly due to the delay resulting from manually creating lab reports.With our system, they are now able to handle 200+ lab reports per day. This has been made possible mainly due to the direct upload feature supproted by PSAS that allows electronic reports geenrated by Roche to be directly uploaded to PSAS database and automatic creation of lab reports.
KX-21 is an ideal hematology analyzer for a clinic satellite laboratory or research testing. It provides a CBC with 17 reportable parameters and 3-part WBC Differential, which includes an Absolute Neutrophil Count (ANC). The results include histograms for WBC, RBC and PLT. The system provides a high level of accuracy through the use of automatic floating discriminators. Built on reliable Sysmex technology, it features a simple start-up menu and single button selection for sampling and daily maintenance with a compact, space-saving design.
For Sysmex KX-21 machine, we have written a driver to automatically generate ASCII files from RS-232 output, which again can be directly uploaded.
