Patient Services and Accounting System, Vrindaban - Operation Theatre Component
Operation module is a part of PSAS application. It has been introduced at Vrindaban in March 2012 and it has been running properly. From March, 2012 to December 2012, 1650 operations details have been recorded.
In operation module, operation are shown with four types of status-
- Due for surgery: If the operation service is registered to patient
- Posted: If patient gets surgery date
- Completed: If the surgery is done
- Canceled: If patient does not go under surgery after doing registration for that service

In this module, there is a facility to see and print the Investigation report by date, doctor, service type and service subtype, gender, ward, status. Investigation report contains all the information (lab results held within 2 months from surgery date) regarding patients who need to undergo surgery. It is very useful when surgery camps (such as Urology camp) is organized. There is also facility to view and print the operation reports in Summary and Detailed format. These reports can be obtained by using filter options on surgery date, gender, ward, service type, service subtype, anesthesiologist, surgeon, OT room, etc. This report contains all the information (Operation and account) regarding Patients. |
